Rules

1. Toilet paper and human waste only to be flushed down the toilets. Use only one ply paper. Please remind your visitors that there is NO FLUSHING ANY FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS DOWN ANY TOILETS. Maybe a sign over “the John” will help.

2. VISITORS: A family in this park is considered Mother, Father and their dependant children, all others are considered visitors. You are allowed visitors if you are here. All visitors must register at office. Visitors and their conduct are your responsibility. Please inform them of the park rules. Visitors are not allowed to bring their pets.

3. QUIET TIME: Weekdays 11:00 p.m. Weekends 12:00 a.m.

4. Any additions to your trailer or site must be approved by the management. We must comply with township bylaws. Hard roofs and Florida rooms purchased through THEONA PARK only will be allowed to be installed at your site.

5. TRAILER SALES: Trailers will be allowed to be sold on site to approved purchaser. All sales are handled through the office.

6. PARK WATER: There will be no sprinkling of lawns after 8:00 a.m. or before 10:00 p.m. on weekdays. NO SPRINKLING OF LAWNS OR WASHING OF CARS ON WEEKENDS. Your visitors are not allowed to wash their cars.

7. No renting or subleasing of a trailer. Site fees and/or sites are not transferable.

8. GARBAGE: All garbage should be placed in plastic bags, tied and placed in the bins provided. Do not use paper bags. Fish must be wrapped in paper and tied in plastic bags. RECYCLING BINS are located beside garbage containers. HELP US RECYCLE.

9. Your site must be kept neat at all times. Keep grass cut and miscellaneous items stored properly. Please respect your neighbors and their property. They are also here to enjoy.

10. No boats or boat trailers allowed on sites. When storing boats at the end of the season, only canoes or small boats that can be stored on your deck will be allowed. Do not store anything on the grass.

11. TENTS: Township bylaws permit only one sleeping unit per site. No tents are allowed on seasonal trailer sites.

12. PETS: Pets are not allowed in the playground or beach areas. Pets must be on a leash and under your control at all times. It is your job to clean up after your pet.

13. No electric heaters. No electric golf carts. No washing machines or dryers. No off road vehicles permitted in the park.

14. MESSAGES AND MAIL: Check at the store for messages or mail. We will only deliver urgent messages.

15. Please respect the boats and the docks. Do not swim fish or play near them. Fishing, boating or skiing is not permitted in the beach areas. Boat speed limit within 500 feet of the docks is restricted to 5 km/h. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

16. No motorized bikes allowed in the park except for transportation to and from the site. Bicycles must be ridden on roads only. Do not cut through your neighbor’s yard.

17. Drinking of alcoholic beverages in the park by persons under the age of 19 is strictly prohibited. Parents will be held responsible.

18. The washrooms, laundry room, and rec hall are for your use. Please keep them clean the rec hall is a ‘park’ facility, not for private use.

19. To drive a golf cart, you must be responsible and have a valid driver’s license.

20. Unruly residents or guest will not be tolerated. Management will call the police and have them removed.

21. The speed limit in the park is 10 km/h.

22. Management reserves the right to evict anyone violating the rules of the park.

23. Swimming: Pool and beaches are unsupervised. Swim at your own risk. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult in any swimming area. Please obey posted rules.
